Why the name Vertical Life?
When Vertical Life Church was born, we set out from the beginning to create a different kind of church. We wanted a church that would represent a passionate people who desired to”live upward,” honoring God every moment of every day. A church whose foundation rests on 6 core values as we see describing the first church in the Bible. You can read what those core values are by clicking here. Those values drive every aspect of the culture of our church! What we hope to achieve during our worship gathering is an authentic worship service where you know everyone is who they say they are. Where you can just be yourself. None of us are perfect. We are all on a journey. Jesus doesn’t want you to do any “changing” before you come to Him. He just wants you to come to Him, and let Him take care of the “changing.” So we don’t expect you to become someone else either when you gather with us on Sundays. Vertical Life Church believes that when you come “just as you are” with an open heart and mind into the presence of God, it allows God to do what He does best. Transform lives! What you will find here is a group of people who are all in different places in life. None of us have it all figured out! So wherever you are in your spiritual journey; whether you are just checking this church thing out for the first time, or maybe you’ve been a believer for a long time, you will find a home here at Vertical life Church!
We know it’s difficult for anyone to make up their mind in one week whether a church is a good fit for them or not. So we are asking you to take 3 weeks to get a “good feel” for what we are all about. Give us the chance to get to know you, as well as you to get to know us. Check out one of our Life Groups that meet throughout the week to see our ministry from another perspective. If you are interested, we can even arrange for you to go on an upcoming service opportunity because that is where you are going to build the strongest relationships. If after three weeks you don’t think this church is for you, then we will pray that God will lead you to the place He desires for you to be with no hard feelings! We are just encouraged you took 3 to give us a shot!
